Overview
There are many ways to search the NCLOR for items. In the NCLOR, you can find items based upon the method used to search for the items and the permissions of the searcher to find the items.
There are four main methods for searching for items in the NCLOR:
- Basic Searching
- Advanced Searching
- Resource Area Browsing
- Federated Searching
Note: The following searching information is for faculty only. Students will never need to search for content in the NCLOR. This searching information will be most beneficial to faculty who plan to search for items in the NCLOR, download the items to their computer, and then upload the items to their institution's course management system or instructor web page.
